What to say... What to say.

Hmmmm. I don't really know where to begin. I started this blog so that I can vent from time to time, share funny stories, relay my excitement about recent happenings (that my husband, for whatever reason, finds less than thrilling) with others who may actually find my tales intriguing, and yeah... Just basically to gab about nonsensical (I love that word) stuff that nobody really cares about, but I DO! :) Here's something I found interesting today: Did you know that in 2010 (This year!) Ford is coming out with HEATED BUMPERS! Yeah. I know what you are thinking, "Huh?!? Why would a vehicle need heated bumpers??" DUH... So your hands stay warm when you are pushing it!! HAHAHA! Oh, that was good.

Well, it does seem I have a lot to say lately. I'm not on Social Networking sites until February. I'm fasting. Well, I do have to get on Facebook for work, but I can't partake in any of the fun stuff like announcing to the world that my sister is pregnant! Yay! Or how a part of me wishes it's me that's pregnant. (I think I just love babies, though, so this is great... I can live vicariously through Jenni without wondering where in this house we could possibly find room for a third child! And no more stretch marks! Lol. And moving is obviously out of the question. Where else would we possibly live?? We are supposed to live on 3rd Street forever, aren't we??) I can't upload the cute, new, funny pictures Erin and I took together. I can't even gaze upon the pics others have uploaded. I love seeing new pics on fb.

My dog is sitting here howling, "I love you, momma!!" Haha. Now, that is something I would definitely want to update my status for. I'm such a dork.

To be honest, I don't really care if anyone reads this or not. I don't plan on seeking out others on this site until after my fast; technically that would qualify as "social networking" and that is a no-no. ;) I actually think this fast is doing great things for me and I can feel my relationship with the Lord strengthening day by day. I've ended up fasting a lot more that just the original fb I was going to fast. I added MySpace, too and I have decided to do my best to work on the intimacy in my marriage. The hardest thing for me to give up, though, was my latest (strange) food addiction: My beloved Knorr Beef Bouillon Cubes. I don't know how I ever got hooked on those things in the first place! Judge me if you will, the addiction got out of control. Do you realize the sodium level in those puppies? Yikes! Turns out they're also high in yeast. O_o They're just all around not meant to be eaten raw, whole, and definitely not by the box. (Here is where readers will begin to realize I may be wierder than they first thought. Oh yeah, it's all coming out... Haha!). I will, hopefully, never eat one of those soft, salty, broth-y cubes again. It's for the best.
